This work, awarded First Prize in the Mark Butler Art Award 2024, is the fourth piece in a series inspired by the stunning Bay of Fires, Tasmania. It delves into the dramatic effects of constant tidal movement on the region's iconic granite outcrops, capturing the interplay of water, wind, and time. The piece reflects the way the relentless ebb and flow of the tide reshapes and erodes these ancient formations, imbuing them with a sense of both permanence and fluidity.
